BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF
JIANGXI COUNCIL FOR THE PROMOTION OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC COOPERATION

Jiangxi Council for the promotion of foreign economic cooperation is a non-profit making, and non-government society organization registered with the Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Civil Affairs, a member organization of China council for the promotion of NGO Corporation.

The mission of Jiangxi Provincial Council for the promotion of international economic cooperation:
The creation of liaison and exchange with all kinds of international and Chinese institutions and enterprises to address fully understanding of the situation of our province, enhance donation aid fund raising and projects for the economic and social development of the impoverished areas of Jiangxi province.

Jiangxi Council for the promotion of international economic cooperation is fully familiar with the situations in details of Jiangxi Provincial economy and society development, have rich experiences of the management and implementation of project donated by international aid. The projects donated by international aid which has been completed is the important and hot spot fields covering education, medical care, environmental protection, agricultural exploitation and poverty alleviation in rural areas, the system reforming of state-owned enterprises and etc. Among which, successfully make use of the fund raised by donation aid to build approximately 60(sixty) sets of new primary and senior school buildings in rural areas, providing the partial of the primary schools of impoverished area approximately 20,000 sets of desks and chairs, raises funds to proceed professional career training for female unemployed workers, the total sum of fund exceeds amounts of RMB ten million Yuans. This project is well praised by the donation aid institutions and individuals, and warmly welcomed by local crowd of the people.

Jiangxi is an area with revolutionary tradition, which made great contribution for establishing the new political power of the People's Republic of China. But, presently Jiangxi's economy is relatively lag behind, there are still eighteen (18) state-level poverty-stricken counties and hundreds of extraordinary impoverished townships (counties) where local infrastructure is deficient, local people's income is very low, being short of medicines and medical treatments all year around, kids of school often drop out of school due in unaffordable the tuition fee. Our council determines to effectively manage the donation aid funds and projects, taking advantage of new means of raising funds, with the serious and responsible attitudes, modern management tools, in the meantime also popularize the donation aid enterprises and individuals through medias in order to preferably make contribution to raise donation aid funds and projects to promote the economic and social development of Jiangxi provincial impoverished areas, help the local people of Jiangxi Provincial impoverished area to alleviate poverty to be rich as` early as possible in the near future.
